Baby All Growed Up! Announcing the Launch of ErikaNapoletano.com

Erika Ink

On occasion, I’m asked what the over/under is on when I’ll drop the first f-bomb when I’m at a speaking engagement. For the record, Las Vegas sports books generally set the line at 3 minutes, but I digress. But I kinda don’t.

With two books coming out and more speaking engagements rolling in, it was decided not long ago that I needed a “me” website – something away from the grab-your-nads-and-make-you-sing-Yankee-Doodle-Dandy nature of RedheadWriting.com. Thusly, I am somewhat self-conscious to announce the launch of ErikaNapoletano.com, in all it’s vain and f-bomb-free glory.

*Insert shouts of “look at me! look at me” here*

Special thanks goes out to Darren Mahuron, my fabulous photographer who somehow always finds a way of making me look better than I really do, for the wonderfully “me” shots you’ll see on the site. As well, Courtney Hebert of JudithShakes Design returns as the web designer (she also did RedheadWriting.com). I owe her a huge thanks for working through a more challenging design and helping make it the best it can be.

So…yeah. Ummm, go stare at me. Or something. And there’s a special section for you — people reading this post — on the page called The Blog. Thank you for you — you’re the only reason I get to do shit like this and not look like a complete self-absorbed caricature of Kathy Griffin rolled-up in a $39/night hotel bedspread tripping balls on meth.

And enjoy that visual.

I think it was a great move creating a personal website. It looks great, too! Kudos on all your success! Going to go pre-order a copy of your book now. :)

Wow! The new design Courtney put together for you is (pardon my hijacking of your vernacular) OSSUM! I’ll certainly enjoy the new F-Bomb free site provided it doesn’t hold back with the hard-knocks analysis of business and life. As always I’ll be gettin’ my daily dose of hedgehog here on RedHead…but now I’ll have some material I can share with people that doesn’t get tagged NSFW.

Well, admittedly – there won’t be any blog posts over there. It’s a static site and just designed so that people can learn about me without getting Bitch Slapped — glad you like, though, Ben! #sadblogpanda

You are entirely too kind…and thank you :)

“So…yeah. Ummm, go stare at me…look like a complete self-absorbed caricature of Kathy Griffin rolled-up in a $39/night hotel bedspread tripping balls on meth.”  Aaaaaand, this is why we read.  Oh, yeah, and the site looks freaking awsometastic as all hell.  Congratulations.

And comments like these are why I love you. Thanks for the props — and more importantly, thanks for reading :)

Congrats to you Erika. I just look at this as more of you to love in cyberspace. Now I can finally show my mom who you are without her reading your material and raising an eyebrow to ask if I remember that I was raised in a Catholic household.

    Awesome, congratulastions!

You really wouldn’t be much of a branding guru if you didn’t smack us in the face with your own promo site, now would you? Site design fab!

Luvvin’ that site design! Clean & classy, with a great shot of your sleeve.

Hey gorgeous, the website is too…

One issue I saw, your Contact Form isn’t showing.

Kind of. But she will get back to
    you.

Cool site design, but it doesn’t have a home button.  Are those out of style?  Or am I just an idiot who could find it?

Awww… aren’t you good lookin’ and stuff. :)

Great stuff Erika, and great site design.   “All Growed Up”?  Nah, I think you were there already.

I know. I’m dealing with an issue. Thanks.

Home buttons are very 1998. Click on the header or the logo these days to go back home :)

  • Ed Mahoney

1998, Ha!  I was probably still surfing CompuServe and trying to figure out how to cancel my America Online membership online.

  • http://heartpress.com/ SL Clark

Heh. You kept the shameful dirty hedgehog link too, not that anyone would notice. ;-)

Oh, and the 16px favicon is fun too. All in, it is impressive what someone with vision, Wordpress and a top designer can do. Congrats!

The new website is incredible! I love the design. It’s all slick with its swishing around the page. I think it could do with a newsletter sign-up, for people to keep up with your author-side!

  • Heather Haebler

Love the new site!!  Great job!!

  • Al Smith

Congrats Red.  Love it.  Its perfect for you.  And you look great (in person too)  Nothing but the best for you.  Hope to see you again soon.  I hope to be speaking soon, too.
Woo Hoo !  The CARE Movement on the road.  Yeah, baby.

Take CARE.  And don’t Ever grow up !

    Al

Thanks, Amy! Things are coming…and a great idea about the newsletter :)

  • http://www.redheadwriting.com The Redhead

    Congratulations! LOVE IT!
Really looking forward to the Book(s) too! Especially the case studies about entrepreneurial companies.
Another great site I’ll be recommending to my 15 yr. old daughter (a kick-ass kid if I do say so myself!). I value women who use their voices!

  • http://www.redheadwriting.com The Redhead

Thanks, Kim - and props to you for the kick-ass kid. Kick ass kids are the result, of course, of kick ass parents (something we need more of in this world, I do believe).

  • http://www.redheadwriting.com The Redhead

Well, for now, it is knowledge bombs. It’s a static website — no blog element — so whatcha see is whatcha get!
